Must I have an colophon on my homepage or on my Shop-homepage?

Acc. to 6 of the Teledienstgesetz (teleservices act) a commercial offering of a tele service must have a colophon or the operator information must be clearly visible, immediate available and always present.

As the integration of advertising on a homepage or a Shop@ with a domain indicates that the page is not just temporarily available and also for third parties available (like through search engines), the colophon requirements are valid for homepages as well. This means that the domain owner who is responsible for the (linked) content, is the contact person, and must be recognizable online. The zanox colophon in the Shop@ only covers this need for the Shop@ content. The domain or the homepage linked to from the Shop@ must show its own colophon.

The domain owner can be found using this address: http://www.denic.de (.de)
