zanox Connect API Authentification

Authentication model

API Version 2009-07-01 introduces the zanox Connect Authentification Model.

What changes with the new Authentication model

Starting from this version of the API the autentication mechanism changes. These changes are the implementation in zanox of the OAuth Protocol and are needed to build applications for other users and execute Web serivces request on their behalf.

How to create the new Keys

In addition Note that to generate keys for this version of zanox Web Service API you need to do it via the [zanox Application Store] following these steps:

Go to Developers/Applications for Sale or My own Applications than click on New application. Now you can finde the Keys under the zanox keys tab.

API Authentication

Two different types of authentication are necessary to use the RESTful API. The implementation details can be found in the
SOAP API authentication process section with zanoxConnect.
